Afandism

The Pot That Gave Birth, Reconsidered

Three-panel Persian miniature comic. Panel 1: Afandi hands a large copper pot back to his neighbour, a smaller pot tucked inside. Panel 2: The neighbour lends the pot a second time, smiling broadly. Panel 3: Afandi, hands raised in solemn condolence, delivers the news of the pot's passing to a neighbour clutching his beard.

A second reading of the same tale, for those of us who learn slowly and with dignity.
